Ford RS200 Group B Rallycar at Goodwood Festival of Speed
The Ford RS200 was developped back in the 80s to compete in the Group B Rally Championship. The car was built from 1984 untill 1986 and only a total of 200 pieces are built.
The unique design of the Ford RS200 came from Ghia and the whole body was made out fiberglass. The car had a 4 wheel drive transmission and a central placed 1.8 litre turbo charger Ford / Corworth engine which produced 250 HP. The rallycar version of the car had the same engine but produced up to 450 HP. In 1985 this car competed for the first time with the drivers Stig Blomqvist and Kalle Grundel.
