Toyota 2000GT from 1968 at Louwman Museum
The Toyota 2000GT was an collaboration between Toyota and Yamaha. The car was launched in 1965 at the Tokyo Motor Show and exclusively sold at the Toyota Store.
The car with it’s front-engine, rear-wheel-drive and two-seats is considered as the first Japanese supercars. Inside the engine bay is a 2.0L straight six engine which produces about 150bhp. Since only 351 pieces of this car were ever built; this car can be considered as a rare specimen.
