Two generations of IWC Ingenieur
Together with a friend of mine (Dimer van Santen) we did a photoshoot of our watches. Mine on the left is the IWC Ingenieur reference 3239 Laureus Limited Edition and on the right Dimer’s watch; the IWC Ingenieur reference 3227. This Ingenieur was with an in house movement by IWC with shock absorbers.
The latest IWC “Laureus Sport for Good Foundation” special edition is already the ninth in the series. And, once again, the colour of hope for disadvantaged children is blue. The watch is water-resistant to 12 bar and, despite having a case height of just 10 millimetres, is fitted with a soft-iron inner cage for optimum protection against magnetic fields. The moderate diameter of the case ideally suits it for wearing on a slender wrist.
