This Ulysse Nardin Freak Blue Cruiser is shot for Ace Jewelers in Amsterdam. The watch is in 18k yellow gold with a leather strap. This very unusual manual wound watch has a power reserve of 7 days. The Ulysse Nardin freak was first launched in 2001 and this particular model is the relaunched version which was relaunched in 2014. The watch has no crown or pushers at all, it only has 2 rotating bezels at the top and bottom. On the bottom on the caseback of the watch is the first rotating bezel which is used for winding the spring. The top one can be unlocked with the ‘blue cruiser’ nameplate and can be used for setting the time.
The freak has the UN-205 in house movement made by Ulysse Nardin which is a very special movement. The movement has a caroussel tourbillion which is attached to the gear train which is also the minute hand.
