Williams FW08B Formula 1 from 1982 running at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018
Back in 1982 Williams had the brilliant idea of putting 4 rear wheels on the FW07 Formula 1 car. This lead to longer wheelbase, more traction and no need for ultra wide tires (which means less resistance). The results of the test runs looked very promising but before it could seriously compete the rules of Formula 1 changed and did only allow 4 wheel cars.
Luckily for us we saw this crazy car running up the hill at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018.
